Welcome to Didsbury Baptist Church in Manchester, UK! We are glad you found us. Here you can find lots of information about who we are and what we do. We hope that what you find is helpful but you’re always welcome to reach out via email or visit us in person for more information.

About Us

We are a diverse community of people who live in and around Didsbury. We worship, pray and study with each other, but we also enjoy eating, relaxing and socializing together. We are shaped by core Baptist principles of faith in God through Jesus Christ, believers’ baptism, congregational government, committed discipleship, religious freedom, and a willingness to make known the love of God in word and deed. Many members of the church and congregation come from non-Baptist backgrounds and churches.

The church is currently without a minister following the retirement of Robert Parkinson in April 2024. We are now seeking a new full time minister accredited by the Baptist Union. For those interested in applying to the position, the details of our church profile and what we are seeking in a new minister can be found by searching the Baptist Union settlement page (accessible to accredited ministers only).
